Crist campaign’s ‘veterans tour’ continues today in Jacksonville, Panama City

Former Gov. Charlie Crist meets with a group of retired military leaders in North Florida today as part of a campaign tour highlighting issues affecting veterans.

The tour continues Saturday, October 11, at 11:00 a.m. with stops in a Jacksonville followed by an event in Panama City at 4:00 p.m. CST/5:00 p.m. EST.

Crist, the Democratic nominee for governor, will join Ret. Major General Donna Barbisch, Ret. Brigadier General Julia Checkley, Retired Lt. Col. Warren Christopher and Chair of the Democratic Veterans Caucus of Florida Phil Giorno for the stop in Panama City.

The Vet-to-Vet Phone Bank event begins 11 a.m. at the Crist for Governor Jacksonville Field Office, 1710 N Main St. Then Crist will attend a veteran’s event beginning 4:00 p.m. CST/5:00 p.m. EST in Panama City at the Democratic Women’s Club of Bay County Headquarters, 135 Harrison Ave.
