Chris Christie visits the Sunshine State once again for a busy campaign day on Thursday, starting with three South Florida events with Gov. Rick Scott and ending with a pair of events in Georgia.
Christie is chair of the Republican Governors Association and has been busy traveling the country campaigning in key GOP contests for the 2014 election year.
“There’s no more important governor’s race to me than the one here in Florida,” the New Jersey governor and prospective 2016 presidential candidate told reporters earlier this month.
At 10:00 a.m., Christie and Scott will attend a meeting with Citrus Industry Leaders in Vero Beach.
At noon, the pair will host a private Scott for Governor event in Port St. Lucie, followed by a 2 p.m. field office rally in Vero Beach.
Both Vero Beach events will be open to the press. For more information, contact Greg Blair at [email protected]
