House District 67 Republican hopeful Chris Latvala received the endorsement from Clearwater vice Mayor Doreen Hock-DiPolito.
“Chris Latvala will hit the ground running for us in Tallahassee,” said Hock-DiPolito. “During his time as Rep. Hooper’s Legislative Aide, he worked closely with leaders in Clearwater on legislation and other issues that effected our great city.”
Latvala served in the 2014 Leadership Pinellas class, and currently sits on the Pinellas MPO Citizen Advisory Committee, the Ruth Eckerd Hall Government Advocacy Committee and the Community Relations Committee for New Life Solutions.
“I thank Vice Mayor Hock-DiPolito for her endorsement,” Latvala responded in a statement. “She is a great friend and leader for us in Clearwater. I look forward to working with her, Mayor Cretekos, and the other members of the Clearwater City Council as a state legislator.”
In endorsing Latvala, Hock-DiPolito joins Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, Reps. Hooper and Larry Ahern and the Fraternal Order of Police.
