They had to beg Mayor Foster for the final $5MM and a deal was cut to split it between the City and County. While I love Winter, $160MM, almost 5 times that amount, is just ludicrous. The projected attendance numbers and revenues just don’t pass the smell test. All of Pinellas County citizens, not just Clearwater residents will end up footing a significant bill for this. Vote carefully.
