In case we had any doubt, the aggregating algorhythmic Googleverse confirms: “Florida is crazy.”
In this map, published here, each state is labeled based on what word Google auto-complete suggested to end the sentence “[state name] is…”
After eliminating unwanted results such as questions or state abbreviations, they put the topmost satisfactory result on the map.
Some states are labeled as compared to others, such as Minnesota being “better than Wisconsin”, or Tennessee being “nice but it ain’t Texas.”
Other states seem a little defensive (check out Nevada: “not a wasteland,” or North Carolina “is not in the South.”) Then there’s the brow-raising Wyoming and North Dakota: “not real” and “a myth”.
Florida may be crazy. But at least there’s no doubt we’re here.
