Connie Mack raises a cool $1 mil during first quarter of 2012

Congressman Connie Mack will report he raised more than $1 million in his first full quarter since entering the Senate race.

His campaign announced the figure Wednesday. Mack entered the race in late November and reported after the end of the year he started the race with about $750,000 raised, including about $300,000 transferred from a House account, reports the Associated Press.
