Charlie Crist indicated Tuesday he planned to veto an anti-abortion bill āsooner rather than later,ā and that the public pressure his office has received to sign the bill was outweighed by the advice heās been getting from people first-hand.
āI have concerns about it,ā Crist told reporters Tuesday morning. āThe notion that there would be a forced ultrasound, if you will, that would have to be paid for by the woman involved, those are things that seem to me to be pretty cynical.ā

āWeāve gotten a fair amount of input in the Governorās Office,ā he said. āWhat I hear anecdotally throughout the state is a little bit different from the kind of responses ā maybe through an organized fashion ā that weāve gotten here in the office.ā
