Republican Dane Eagle, running for the Florida House of Representatives in District 77, announced that he raised more over $53,000 during the first quarter of 2012, bringing his total to more than $100,000.

“It is humbling to have the support of so many folks on so many levels contributing to the campaign,” stated Eagle, “Our momentum is growing everyday.”

This was another strong quarter for the Eagle campaign. The campaign received dollars from all over the state but obviously concentrated in Lee County. “And we have not been solely focused on raising money,” Eagle said, “we have been collecting the necessary petitions, attending events and going door to door.”

Some notable campaign contributors include Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott and NFL’s “Most Winningest Coach”, Don Shula, among many others.
