State Rep. Darryl Rouson has drawn a challenger in Florida House District 55 and, boy, let me tell you she is a real threat.  After all, April Sheffield, backed by that son-of-a-bitch Ed Helm, was only arrested two years ago for exploiting the elderly:

The owner of four care homes has been charged with exploiting the elderly, grand theft and forging checks.

Police say that April Sheffield, 41, cashed a check to an 82-year-old resident of one of her homes.

The check, from the Veterans Administration, was for $9,166.

Sheffield told the man the check was for $600, and passed on only $100, police say.

The man’s sister initially confronted Sheffield, who told her the check was for $6,000 and paid back $3,000, police say.

The sister had confirmed the amount of the check with the VA, and went to the police.
