DCCC internal poll: Alex Sink 49%, David Jolly 45%

Democrat Alex Sink leads Republican David Jolly 49 to 45 percent, according to a new internal poll commissioned by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

According to a DCCC polling memo, Sink shows “strong crossover support and advantages among key voting blocs.”

In this poll, Sink performs especially well with independent voters, leading Jolly by a margin of 24 points (55 to 31 percent). Sink further receives more than double the crossover support of Jolly. While 21 percent of Republicans support Sink, just 11 percent support Jolly.
