Direct mail round-up: Outside group hits Janet Long again; she fires back at Neil Brickfield

Two races for the Pinellas County Commission continue get nastier as Election Day approaches.

An electioneering group, the Main Street Leadership Council, funded in part by Republican lawmaker Jeff Brandes, sent this tird mailer critical of Democrats Charlie Justice and Janet Long.

Long, for her part, is not taking the attacks lying down. Her campaign is sending out this mailer, accusing her opponent Neil Brickfield of spreading “half-truths.”
