Direct mail round-up: The Brandes/Latvala barrage against Rick Kriseman continues

The barrage of direct mail attacking mayoral candidate Rick Kriseman shows no sign of letting up as St. Pete voters received on Monday another hit piece critical of Kriseman’s votes to increase his own pay

The mailer was sent by Accountability in Government, an electioneering communications organization with ties to GOP uber-consultant Pat Bainter, who in turn has extensive ties to the Florida Realtors. That said, my sources tell me the person ultimately responsible for this mailer is Republican State Senator Jeff Brandes.

The Tampa Bay Times‘ Mark Puente has additional reporting on how State Senator Jack Latvala is also helping Foster’s cause via his ECO. 

Regardless of how you feel about Foster vs. Kriseman, isn’t it nice to see Jack and Jeff agreeing on something?
