Does Dave Aronberg really want to be Charlie Crist’s rockstar anymore?

If my choice for Attorney General were a recipe, I’d probably be three parts Aronberg to two parts Gelber. I’m not locked in to Aronberg, just saying I am beginning to lean his way, if only for some personal reasons I’ll keep to myself.

That said, I sure wish Aronberg would pull down the blurbs on his website where he brags about Charlie Crist saying:

“To be honest, about anything Sen. Aronberg does is important to me,” Crist said when asked about Aronberg’s proposal to revise state sex offender residency rules. “The guy is brilliant. He’s a rockstar, and I have such great respect for him. And he’s just a good, decent man. And almost everything I can think of that he’s ever promoted or pushed has been something I’m able to support gladly.”

Listen, I like and respect Charlie Crist more than 95% of Democrats, but Aronberg is running in a Democratic primary and it does no good to remind liberal voters that the guy who thinks you are a “rock star” is also pro-life, pro-gun, anti-gay, etc.

The quote will be always be there on Google. It just doesn’t need to be on Senator Aronberg’s website.
