Donald Trump supporters invited to two upcoming events in Pinellas

Donald Trump supporters in St. Pete have a couple of chances to show their “Make America Great Again” pride in the coming week. Supporters are hosting a South Carolina Primary watch party this weekend and a volunteer training and organizational meeting next week.

The South Carolina Primary watch party will be Saturday from 8 p.m. until closing time at Quaker Steak & Lube at 10400 49th Street North in Clearwater just off of U.S. 19.

Watch out for dueling political fans at this event though. Ted Cruz supporters are hosting a “HUGE” rally for Ted Cruz the same day at 1:00 p.m. It should be enough time for the two groups to avoid each other, but you never know.

For those Trump supporters who want to get involved in his campaign, a training and organizational meeting is at the Pinellas Park Library Wednesday, Feburary 24 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The library is located at 7770 52nd Street North.

Organizers are asking supporters to provide their name, address and email in an RSVP to [email protected]. The also recommend bringing a laptop for notes and a cell phone.

Florida’s Presidential Preference Primary is March 15, but mail ballots have already gone out to those who requested them.
