Don’t forget: Fundraiser for Eric Eisnaugle tonight in Tally

Former Rep. Eric Eisnaugle, looking to return to the House representing District 44, is hosting a fundraising reception in Tallahassee tonight.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Capital Room of The Governors Club.

Eisnaugle, 37, a lawyer from Orlando who previously served two terms in the House, had little trouble recently defeating Vicky Bell, an English professor at Valencia College who had served a term on the Orange County School Board, in the GOP primary in the special election for HD 44.

Eisnaugle, who received more than 80 percent of the vote, will face Democrat Shaun Raja in the special general election on April 8.

The seat was opened when Steve Precourt resigned after being offered the position of executive director of the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority.
