I’d be the last person to complain that the campaign season has begun to early, but, jeez, it’s more than six months before the November and, already, the first 4′ x 3′ sign is dotting the cityscape.
Republican newcomer Connie Deneault, whose campaign raised a surprisingly strong $52,000 last quarter and launched a smart-looking website, has put up the first sign of the local legislative campaign cycle. Look for Deneault to run a sharp campaign, even if he is up against a popular incumbent in Bill Heller; Deneault’s campaign has retained the services of uber-consultants Randy Enwright and Jim Rimes.
