Montanari, a longtime community advocate and member of several community advisory panels, is running unopposed for the District 3 seat now held by term-limited Councilman Bill Dudley.
He has since been endorsed by Dudley, the Sun Coast Police Benevolent Association, state Rep. Kathleen Peters, St. Petersburg Free Clinic CEO Beth Houghton and a growing number of influential Tampa Bay-area leaders.
