Email Insights: Allison Tant rants over Chris Christie’s visit

in Uncategorized by

Florida Democratic Party chair Allison Tant is making a stand against bullies — starting with Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who will be visiting the region for a series of fundraisers.

In a new email called “Big Scandals in Florida,” Tant tells supporters that Christie, one of the “the biggest bullies on the block” whose senior staff shut down part of the George Washington Bridge for pure political retaliation, are not welcome in in Florida.

Christie even yelled at a teacher!

Tant says she needs 25,000 people to take a stand against Christie, by making a FDP donation, of course.

Since it is an email, readers have no way to see if Tant was saying all this with a straight face.

One can only imagine the fits of uncontrolled giggling while typing that sentence out.

As yesterday’s awful movie theater shooting – over texting and popcorn, no less — joins the myriad of strangeness that makes the Sunshine State a seemingly infinite punchline of jokes, there is one valid reason for the latest of “Tant’s rants.”

Florida simply cannot take any more weirdness. We just do not have the room; we’re all filled up.
