In his bid to return to the Florida House in a special election, former Rep. Eric Eisnaugle posted Tuesday total of $342,020 raised through April 3, according to Division of Election filing reports.
Eisnaugle originally planned to run for House District 44 in November, but moved up his agenda in January with the resignation of former Rep. Steve Precourt.
Eisnaugle then transferred his campaign funds from his November campaign to that of the special election.
Of the $342,020 reported, Eisnaugle showed he spent $282,867 and almost all of it after Jan. 1.
Eisnaugle will be facing Democrat Shaun Raja in the Orange County special election. Through March 6, Raja raised $11,487, but the most recent filings for Raja are pending as of Monday morning.
