After a two-year absence, former state Rep. Evan Jenne returns to Tallahassee in November. In this year’s election for House District 99, Jenne drew no opposition.

Jenne is now launching his re-election effort for another term in the Broward County seat. Jenne opened a campaign account for 2016 with the Division of Elections, according to the DoE website. Jenne joins 13 other House candidates who have filed campaign accounts for 2016.

The Dania Beach Democrat was redistricted out of his House District 100 seat in 2012 — two years before term limits — and made an unsuccessful bid for the Broward County Commission.
