FDLE head says severance deal with Jim Greer not ‘pertinent’ to investigation

From Gary Fineout: The head of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said on Tuesday that the proposed severance agreement that Jim Greer reached with Republican Party of Florida officials this year was not “pertinent” to the investigation that resulted in Greer’s arrest.

But Gerald Bailey, the FDLE commissioner, said that “things are known now that were not known when that severance agreement was executed.
