The Florida Professional Firefighters announced their endorsement of Jack Latvala’s campaign for Florida Senate in District 16. The FPF is a state association chartered by the International Association of Firefighters and represents full-time Professional Firefighters and Emergency Medical Services Personnel in 175 cities, counties, and special districts.
The FPF’s decision to support Latvala’s campaign came following the request of 2nd District Vice President, Winthrop Newton. The association’s president Bob Carver said, “we believe that you will honorably serve the citizens of Florida, and the interests of the men and women employed in the Fire and Emergency Medical Services, who have made the protection of life and property their life’s work.”
“I greatly appreciate what firefighters do for our communities, and I very much look forward to fighting for them. As this campaign proceeds, I am thrilled to have the support of everyday heroes like police officers and firefighters,” Latvala said.
