Florida Chamber wants you to tell legislators to ‘vote for Florida, not casinos’

A mailer that dropped over the weekend in the Brevard-based district of Sen. Thad Altman, R-Viera, pictures an ominous gambler and poker chips, with a headline that says “With casino gambling there is only one safe bet. The deal always wins … but Floridians will lose.”

The leaflet then says to call Altman, and lists his district office number. “Tell him to vote for Floridians, not Big Casinos.”
