Florida Young Democrats prez Justin Spiller backing Allison Tant for FDP Chair

Florida Young Democrats president Just Spiller announced his support of Allison Tant as Chair of the Florida Democratic Party.

In his endorsement, Spiller pointed to Tant’s commitment to engage and recruit young professionals to run for elected office. “We need to build on the successes of 2012 where we saw a number of young professionals run for office and win,” said Spiller. “Allison Tant has shown that she believes in investing in building a bench of young leaders who will take the Florida Democratic Party to new levels. I am excited to stand with her in race for Chair of the Florida Democratic Party.”

Spiller joins Jackson County Democratic Party Chair and state committeewoman Judy Mount, Pinellas County state committeeman Rick Boylan, Sarasota County state committeeman and former Rep. Keith Fitzgerald, Brevard County state committeeman Bill Rettinger, Orange County Democratic Party Chair and former Rep. Scott Randolph, Miami-Dade Democratic Party Chair Annette Taddeo-Goldstein, House Democratic Leader Perry Thurston as some of the prominent Florida Democratcs supporting Allison Tant.
