Kathleen Ford announcement disrupted by homeless

in The Bay and the 'Burg by
The speech was over before it began. That was how quickly Kathleen Ford spoke on the steps of City Hall. With about twenty-five supporters in attendance, Kathleen had to cut her remarks short as homeless protesters began to gather to protest the Ford campaign. Unfortunately, the Ford campaign did not know what was going on. But I couldn’t really see what was going on either as I was talking to a reporter and then a friend. It was just all of a sudden there were all these homeless people besieging Kathleen. Then the press conference was over. It was a very weird scene.
