The luckiest former politician in St. Petersburg — former State Representative Frank Farkas — is endorsing Carolyn Fries for St. Petersburg City Council District 4, but gave no word about whether he’d spend any of the  $815,515.72  he recently won playing the Florida Lottery’s “Lucky $200,000 A Year for Life” game to help Fries get elected.

Regarding the endorsement, Farkas said, “I have known Carolyn for many years and consider her to be a friend and an asset to St. Petersburg. Her engineering background and business experience will bring a unique perspective to the City Council. In addition, her ability to bring people together will play a significant role in moving the city forward.”

Frank Farkas, a chiropractic physician in St. Petersburg, was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 1998 where he served four terms.
