Republican Chris Sprowls, named one of Florida’s “30 under 30” rising political stars, is being honored with a fundraising reception in his bid for the Florida House District 65.
The reception will begin 6 p.m. Friday, June 14 at the law Office of Sonny Im in Tarpon Springs. Sprowls is currently the Assistant State Attorney for Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit. He faces Democratic incumbent Carl “Z” Zimmermann in November 2014.
The recently redrawn House District 65 seat covers the regions of north Pinellas County including Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Palm Harbor and East Lake.
