Dwight Dudley will be “gettin’ down in his dancing shoes,” according to the advertising for an upcoming fundraiser.
The fundraiser is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 18 at Reno’s Downtown Joint, 27 Fourth St. N, St. Petersburg.
The host, Jon Labudde, and the host committee, Chuck Wray, Scott McIntyre, Mary Rachel Dudley, Peter Downes, Jack O’Grady, Alan Jenkins and Crystal Morales, promise “delicious food to make your belly happy and great music to make your feet busta move.” The Howes Coleman Duo of Bob Howes (Surfing Raccoons; Jam House) and Scott Coleman (Jam House) will provide music. While not required to attend, organizers say contributions are always welcome.
Dudley, a state representative, is running for County Judge Group 9 against Myriam Irizarry in the Aug. 30 non-partisan election.
Thus far in the election, Dudley is outpacing Irizarry in fundraising.
