Get your checkbooks ready for several legislative fundraisers this week

Get your checkbooks ready, PAC chairs and Tallahassee uber-lobbyists, there are several fundraisers for legislative candidates planned for this week.

State Senate District 4 candidate Aaron Bean, Republican from Fernandina Beach, plans a meet and greet at the Duval County campaign headquarters. (Wednesday, 4 p.m., Duval County GOP headquarters 4963 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville.)

Rep. Patrick Rooney has an event planned for Wednesday:

A fundraiser will be held Wednesday evening for Republican congressional candidate Richard Clark, who is running for the 6th Congressional District in northeast Florida. (Wednesday, 6 p.m., Marsh Landing Country Club, 25655 Marsh Landing Pkwy., Ponte Vedra Beach.)

On Thursday, John Grant, III, will hold his campaign kickoff  at the Tampa Club, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The host committee includes Brian Blair, Clif Curry, Tony DeSisto, Paul Elliot, Tom Lee, Tom Pepin, Mark Proctor, Rich Reidy, Deborah Tamargo and Roy Wilcox.

Legislative candidate Dane Eagle has an event planned in Cape Coral on Thursday:

Bradley Maxwell has an event on Thursday in Tallahassee:

End the week with a fundraiser for Karen Castor Dentel, sister of Congresswoman Kathy Castor.  Dentel is running for House District 30.  The event is on Saturday at Castor’s home from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
