Gary Bush will assume the position of Director, Codes Compliance Assistance. Gary has the distinction of working his way through the Codes ranks starting as a Codes Investigator in 1994.
In 2001, Gary was the Codes Supervisor assigned to the Midtown Economic Development Initiative and the subsequent Childs Park Initiative in 2007.
Gary retired from the military in 1994 as a Master Sergeant. While serving in the United States Air Force, Gary had a variety of supervisory experiences to include Sergeant in Charge of Accounting and Administration, and Headquarters Liaison responsible for transportable fuel administration while deployed during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
Codes Supervisor, Brenda Stewart, will assume Gary’s prior responsibilities. Supervisor Stewart’s position will be filled following an internal interview process. Other Organizational changes will be announced at a later time.
