State Rep. Mike La Rosa has joined 20 other GOP state lawmakers who are endorsing Republican hopeful Blaise Ingoglia for State House District 35.
La Rosa is the first-term representative for Florida House District 42, which includes Osceola and eastern Polk County.
Ingoglia, vice chair of the Republican Party of Florida, faces former county commissioner Rose Rocco for the seat covering much of Hernando County. Term-limited Rep. Rob Schenck now holds the seat.
“I am pleased to endorse Blaise Ingoglia for District 35 of the Florida House,” said La Rosa in a statement issued today. “His business experience will make him a great asset to the Florida House as we aim to keep Florida moving in the right direction.”
“I am honored to have the support of Representative La Rosa,” Ingoglia responded. “Representative La Rosa is a dedicated leader and a strong advocate for his community. He has quickly earned a reputation as a difference maker and I look forward to serving with him in the Florida House.”
Other statewide Republicans on board for Ingoglia are Attorney General Pam Bondi, State Sens. Wilton Simpson, John Thrasher, Tom Lee and John Legg, as well as scores of conservatives throughout Florida.
A Spring Hill home builder and former professional tournament poker player, Ingoglia became an outspoken political personality through the www.governmentgonewild.org website, featuring a series of videos calling out wasteful spending in Tallahassee.
