Gov. Rick Scott and Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll will address CPAC-FL, the American Conservative Union announced Tuesday, reports the News Service of Florida. The CPAC conference is in Orlando on Friday, Sept. 23. “In less than a year on the job, Rick Scott has made good on his promises to Floridians, lowering taxes, reducing government spending and promoting economic development in the Sunshine State,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “Under the leadership of Governor Rick Scott and Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll, Florida is implementing pro-growth policies to accelerate job creation, standing in stark contrast to President Obama’s liberal agenda – one that has failed our economy and our country.” Other speakers at the event include U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, Bill Kristol, Grover Norquist and Ralph Reed.
