Gwen Graham is continuing her grassroots efforts by launching a new field office near downtown Panama City this weekend.

Volunteers, supporters and friends are invited to the grand opening, beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 at 647 Jenks Avenue, Suite B-1, in Panama City.

The Tallahassee Democrat, who is the daughter of former governor and U.S. Sen. Bob Graham will face Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland in Florida’s 2nd Congressional District, which covers Tallahassee through Panama City and the eastern region of the Florida Panhandle.

“This campaign is all about giving an independent voice to the people of North Florida and the Big Bend,” Graham said in a statement, “so we are excited to open up this office and start the person-to-person conversations that will win this race.”
