Bob Hackworth names new campaign manager

Bob Hackworth has named Shari Hazlett his new campaign manager.  Hazlett, who oversaw Hackworth’s successful effort to qualify for the ballot by petition, replaces Darden Rice, who says she will remain as a campaign consultant.

The St. Petersburg Times’ David DeCamp spoke with Hackworth, who said:

“We promoted Shari from petition coordinator to campaign manager after our successful petition gathering effort ended. Fundraising is the next major phase of my campaign and Shari has a lot of fundraising experience working with campaigns and local and national non-profits.  She most recently worked on Karl Nurse’s successful campaign with Darden and before that worked on the U.S. Senate campaign of Patty Murray.
