Nelson’s re-election campaign said the incumbent Democrat has raised $2 million during the first quarter of 2011, and that he has between $4.5 million and $5 million in the bank all together.
Haridopolos has been able to raise money during the legislative session although he has said he is not holding any organized fundraisers during the 60-day period.
