Zephyrhills Mayor Danny Burgess received the endorsement today from Pasco County Schools Superintendent Kurt Browning.
Burgess is running as a Republican for Florida House District 38, currently held by term-limited House Speaker Will Weatherford.

“Danny grew up in East Pasco like I did and is a product of the Pasco County School System,” Browning said in a statement.

“He has an energetic and humble demeanor about him that doesn’t come around too often. His commitment and service to family, community and country is truly remarkable and refreshing to see.”
In accepting Browning’s support, Burgess responded:  “Superintendent Browning has been a tireless advocate for Pasco County as well as our State for as long as I can remember. I am encouraged by his leadership and bold vision for our school system here in Pasco County. I appreciate his guidance and am honored to have him on my team.”
