House District 69 candidate Kathleen Peters received the endorsement of local Mayors Steve McFarlin, St. Pete Beach and Mike Yakes, Gulfport today.

“For over 20 years I have had the pleasure of knowing and observing the many outstanding works of Kathleen Peters.  The list of vital community projects that Kathleen has dedicated herself to is endless. The level of energy and enthusiasm she demonstrates towards improving our community far exceeds anyone I could name.  In addition our City and cities throughout the state are truly indebted to Kathleen for her work in the opposition of Amendment 4 during our last election. As far as Kathleen’s role as Mayor of our neighboring city, I am able to personally attest to her many contributions in bringing forth numerous improvements and at the same time demonstrating nothing but integrity in leadership.  We all would be very fortunate to have Kathleen Peters as our State Representative,” said Steve McFarlin.

“Mayors McFarlin & Yakes are well respected and hard working leaders in our community and it’s an honor to have their support,” Peters said.
