Hey, Sunshine State News: Buddy McKay endorsed Nan Rich in February

in Uncategorized by

In its zeal to highlight any news item unfavorable to Democrat Charlie Crist, Sunshine State News reports today — April 30 — that “Buddy McKay endorses Nan Rich for Governor.”

“More Democrats are throwing their support behind former Sen. Nan Rich, who is currently running as a Democrat in the Florida gubernatorial campaign,” writes SSN reporter Allison Nielsen. “On Wednesday, former Democratic Gov. Buddy MacKay endorsed Rich, saying she has what it takes to take on Gov. Rick Scott.”

Actually, McKay endorsed Rich February 5, calling her the “…one true Democrat in the race.”

To her credit, Nielsen updated her story to reflect when McKay first endorsed Rich.

No worries, Sunshine State News. I look forward to the story about Sen. Dwight Bullard endorsing Rich any day now.
