Last month, a majority of Hillsborough County commissioners agreed to sign a letter urging Gov. Rick Scott not to reject $2.4 billion in federal money to build high-speed rail between Tampa and Orlando. But Commissioner Sandy Murman didn’t like the language drafted by county staff, specifically a phrase asking the governor to reconsider his decision. Not the way you talk to a governor, Murman felt.
