State Attorney Mark Ober today endorsed Jim Frishe for the State Senate District 22 GOP primary. Responsible for prosecuting within Hillsborough County, Ober is recognized as a top criminal attorney, having personally chaired over 250 criminal jury trials, including over 40 first degree murder convictions. Ober joins a long list of Republican leaders in Tampa Bay endorsing Jim Frishe in the Republican Primary for Senate District 22.
“My responsibility as a State Attorney is to prosecute and convict individuals who threaten our safety in Tampa Bay. But as prosecutors we can only charge criminals according to laws that are written and passed by our legislators in Tallahassee. Together we work as a team putting laws on the books, and then convicting criminals, to protect our way of life. That’s why I am endorsing Jim Frishe for the Florida Senate. During his years in the Florida House, he has been a strong supporter of law enforcement as we have fought to keep Tampa Bay a safe place to live, work, and raise a family. Jim is dedicated to the well being of the citizens he represents and will be a valuable partner in Tallahassee. Please join me in supporting Jim Frishe for State Senate on August 14th in the Republican Primary,” Ober said.
