House District 35 candidate Blaise Ingoglia offered me a preview of his first fundraising numbers since announcing his entry into the race on May 8.
In all, over 240 individual entities contributed to the campaign. Along with in-kind donations and a loan from the candidate, the total raised for the shortened quarter came to $74,094. The campaign also showed that it can use the internet to raise campaign funds effectively by raising over $4,600 online.
“I am extremely humbled by the outpouring of local support and by the number of people and small businesses that have contributed to our campaign for State House over the last eight weeks,” stated Ingoglia. “When you look at the contributors to the campaign you will see an amazing amount of diversity in the ages and occupations of the contributors. Our supporters know that I will fight hard for them in Tallahassee in helping to create jobs and economic opportunity. I am committed to making Hernando County, as well as Florida, a better place for generations to come.”
