House District 38 hopeful Danny Burgess to hold meet and greet May 29

State House District 38 hopeful Danny Burgess is inviting friends and supporters to a โ€œWine & Cheese Meet & Greetโ€ in Wesley Chapel next week.

Burgess, who currently serves as mayor of Zephyrhills, is running as a Republican to succeed term-limited House Speaker Will Weatherford in House District 38, which covers Pasco County and Dade City, Lacoochee, San Antonio and Crystal Springs.

The event begins 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29 at the Seven Oaks Clubhouse, 2910 Sports Core Circle in Wesley Chapel.

Prior to becoming Zephyrhills mayor, Burgess served as First Lieutenant in the United States Army, as well as performing as Judge Advocate General. He currently practices at law at Johnson, Auvil, Pratico & Chane.
