Huh? Gloria Romero Roses already makes the DCCC’s “Emerging Races” program

Riddle me this, how did Gloria Romero Roses already make the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee‘s list of “Emerging Races”?

As Kyle Munzenrieder wrote for the Miami New Times, Roses has no electoral experience, no name recognition, and doesn’t even live close to the district.

Of course, she is running against the ethically-challenged David Rivera, but still, the “Emerging Races” program is designed to recognize those campaigns which meet specific infrastructure and organizational goals.

If simply filing against Rivera is one of those goals, then, yes, Roses has crossed that threshold, but before the DCCC asks folks to support Roses, shouldn’t she, you know, live near the district?

Of course, Rivera doesn’t live in the district, either.

Oh, South Florida…
