There are few signs of a front-runner, but one candidate generating some buzz is Mike Hill, president of the Northwest Florida Tea Party. Hill boasts endorsements from the Pensacola News-Journal, Rep. Dennis Baxley, the National Federation of Independent Business in Florida, where he serves on the leadership council.
Certain to add to Hill’s buzz is the campaign finance report he just provided to the Division of Elections. It shows Hill having collected contributions totaling $68,610 in the three weeks since he deposited his first check.
It will be interesting to see if Ed Gray or Jack Nobles can Hill’s impressive numbers.
