Intrade market says Marco Rubio has a 25% chance to be GOP VP nominee in 2012

Hat tip to Mike Allen for noticing how hot Marco Rubio is on the Intrade board, a market that allows investors to make predictions on the outcome of real-world events.

According to the Intrade market, Rubio has a 25% chance of being named the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee in 2012.

This is an incredibly high amount (so high, in my opinion, that it may not be a bad ideato “short” Rubio’s chances). But what’s interesting is that Allen believes Rubio has oneone of Intrade’s most inaccurate values. According to Allen, the “Real Rubio number is at least 70.”
