Florida State University quarterback Jameis Winston’s code of conduct hearing appears set for Tuesday.
The Tallahassee Democrat is reporting that an attorney for the woman who alleged Winston assaulted her said he’ll arrive in Tallahassee Monday for Tuesday’s hearing.
Winston could be charged with any of four violations to the school’s code of conduct relating to the alleged sexual assault in December 2012. The case will be heard by retired Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Major Harding.
Penalties Winston faces if found to have violated the school’s conduct code include probation, suspension and expulsion. Testimony in student conduct code cases is confidential.
The Tallahassee Police Department and state Attorney’s Office investigated the allegations but did not charge Winston.
Florida State is scheduled to play Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship game Saturday, Dec. 5.
