James Grant’s campaign for the open Florida House seat in District 47 received yet another significant boost this week when the West Central Florida Police Benevolent Association endorsed his candidacy. When speaking of their endorsement and support of Grant’s campaign, President Nick Marolda said,
“We will ask our members, their families and friends and all citizens in the district who respect the strong and efficient enforcement of our laws, to cast their ballots in support of James Grant.”
The WCPBA’s endorsement adds to the momentum that has been building for the Grant Campaign. In recent weeks, Grant has been endorsed by former opponent Rich Reidy, qualified for the ballot by collecting over 1,300 petitions, won the only two straw polls to date, and in his first fundraising quarter outraised all other opponents in the race. Speaking of the endorsement, Grant said,
“The endorsement of the Police Benevolent Association is a tremendous honor. I am incredibly humbled to have the support of the organization advocating on behalf of the men and women protecting our way of life and preserving our liberties .”
