Janet Long only seven points ahead of newcomer Larry Ahern, according to poll of House District 51

According to exclusive poll results obtained by this blog, Democratic incumbent Janet Long holds a narrow seven point lead over political newcomer Republican Larry Ahern.  Long leads Ahern 38% – 31% according to this poll taken on March 17 & 18  and has a margin of error of 4.9%.  Keep in mind, this is not my poll, so I cannot verify the polls’ results, but my source for this information is from the same source which provided the spot-on polling data during the St. Petersbug Mayoral Race.  Long maintains a precarious Favorable/Unfavorable ratio, while Ahern is largely unknown to most voters.
