Former Governor Jeb Bush is planning to attend a Michigan Republican Party fundraiser with Gov. Rick Snyder in suburban Detroit.
The “Governors’ Gala” event Monday in Troy costs $500 per person to attend and $5,000 per person or couple to attend a private round table.
Snyder and Bush plan to discuss the “road to Michigan’s recovery” three weeks before voters decide whether to elect Snyder or Democrat Mark Schauer.
Earlier Monday, Bush campaigned for Snyder and U.S. Senate candidate Terri Lynn Land at the Kent County Republican headquarters in Grand Rapids.
Bush says “electing principle-centered conservative Republicans at all government levels this year will help more people achieve the American Dream.”
Bush also was visiting state GOP headquarters in Lansing and the American Polish Cultural Center in Troy.
