Jeff Atwater has raised $3.24 million for re-election campaign

With little opposition this Tuesday, Florida Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater has raised $3,243,937 in his re-election effort, according to the most recent fundraising reports filed with the state Division of Elections.

Atwater’s final take includes $32,150 raised from Oct. 18-31, including $24,000 coming from several Disney-related firms.

Atwater’s also reported $336,945 in expenditures during the period for an overall total of nearly $2.88 million.

William Rankin, Atwater’s Democratic opponent, failed to garner much support from the Florida Democratic Party, raising $20,688 as of Wednesday, reports show.
